HDS was contracted to gather survey data and create submission documentation for regulator approval, for an airfield “Freedom Farm” in Japan.

A unique and exciting opportunity to sit down with a client and showcase our flexibility and utilising our technology and processed to deliver what was required.

In particular, detailed analysis of obstructions(trees, terrain, buildings), sections, and measurements, were utilised to ensure splay angles, clearances, and runway slope were within the limitations defined by the aviation bureau technical regulations and ensure compliance and gain successful approval to operate as an approved landing area.
